The Phoenix Datacare Data Safe is a high-capacity, fire-protected safe designed to guard computer backup tapes and digital media such as CDs, DVDs and memory sticks in busy offices or home workspaces. It delivers 60, 90 or 120 minutes of fire protection depending on size (Size 1, Size 2 or Size 3), with Swedish NT Fire 017-60dis/90dis/120dis standards as the benchmark.

Twin water-resistant seals create an airtight inner compartment to shield media from moisture. For security, it is recommended for overnight cash risk up to £1,500 or valuables up to £15,000. The unit has been drop-tested from 9.1 metres, demonstrating resilience to the impact of falling through burning floors in a building.

Interior configurations vary by size: Size 1 includes 1 shelf; Size 2 includes 2 shelves; Size 3 offers 2 height-adjustable shelves and can be fitted with optional pull-out media trays. All models feature 4 internal key hooks and are finished in a high-quality scratch-resistant paint (RAL9003).

Locking options include an advanced high-security electronic lock with LED display, dual control and programmable/scrambled codes; a fingerprint lock with a touchscreen keypad, internal alarm and up to 128 fingerprints; or a standard key lock supplied with two keys.
